How your data is stored, retained, and protected — plus your rights and options.
Data retention
Your content is kept for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription or your account becomes inactive, your data is retained for a grace period before permanent deletion:

You'll receive multiple email notifications before anything is permanently removed — giving you time to resubscribe, download your files, or export your data.
Resubscribing during the grace period restores full access to all your content. Nothing is lost until the final deletion is complete.
If you're on the Free plan, any project activity — creating a chat, generating audio, or uploading to your library — resets the inactivity clock.
Download your files
You can download individual audio files from any of your projects at any time while your account is active. Use the Export feature in the timeline editor to download finished mixes, or download individual segments directly.
Request a full data export
If you need a complete export of all your data — projects, scripts, audio files, and account information — email support@brainports.ai and we'll prepare it for you.
Delete your account
To permanently delete your account and all associated data, email support@brainports.ai. Account deletion is irreversible — make sure to download any files you want to keep first.

Brainports uses cookies to keep you signed in and improve the experience. You can manage your preferences via the cookie consent banner:

Voice cloning consent
When you upload voice reference audio for cloning, you confirm that you have the necessary permission to use that voice. This is important:

You must have explicit consent from the person whose voice you're cloning

You can withdraw consent and delete any voice clone at any time from your project

Deleted voice clones are permanently removed from our systems
AI-generated content
All audio exported from Brainports includes metadata identifying it as AI-generated content. This helps maintain transparency and trust in AI-created media.
