Voice Cloning

Upload a reference audio sample, and the AI creates a voice model that can generate new speech in that voice. Use it for brand consistency, personal narration, or bringing a specific vocal identity into your projects.

Requirements

• Plan: Starter, Pro, or Studio (not available on Free)

• Audio file: WAV, MP3, FLAC, or OGG format

• File size: 20 MB maximum

• Reference text: A transcript of what's being said in the audio (up to 500 characters) — this helps the AI accurately learn the voice

• Consent: You must confirm that you own the voice or have explicit permission from the voice owner

How It Works

1. Upload a reference audio sample (or select one from your library)

2. Add reference text — type or paste a transcript of the speech in your audio sample

3. Confirm consent — check the box confirming: "I confirm I am the voice owner or have explicit consent to use this reference for cloning, and I agree to the Terms and Privacy Policy"

4. Generate — the AI analyzes the sample and creates a voice model

5. Use the cloned voice in any project, on any segment

Once created, your cloned voice works just like any other voice. You can assign it to characters, add emotion instructions per segment, and generate speech in 50+ languages.

Tips for Best Results

The quality of your cloned voice depends heavily on the reference audio. Follow these guidelines:

• Clear speech — minimal background noise, no music or sound effects

• Natural delivery — 10 to 30 seconds of conversational or narration-style speech

• Consistent volume — avoid sudden loud or quiet sections

• Single speaker — only one person speaking in the sample

Saved to Your Library

Cloned voices are saved to your personal library. You can:

• Reuse them across all your projects

• Assign them to any character

• Preview them at any time

Managing Consent

Voice cloning comes with responsibility. Brainports requires consent confirmation at the time of cloning.

If you need to withdraw consent, you can delete the cloned voice from your library at any time. Deleting the voice removes it permanently — it will no longer be available for generating new speech.
